Tsomgo Lake, Baba Mandir & Nathula Pass

High-altitude excursion

Morning

Drive to the oval-shaped Tsomgo Lake (3,780 m), fed by glaciers and home to Brahminy ducks and migratory birds.

Onward

Continue 17 km to Baba Mandir, then ascend to Nathula Pass (14,140 ft) — one of India's highest motorable passes and a historic India–Tibet border post.

Early drive (around 3:45 AM) to Tiger Hill (2,440 m) for sunrise over Kanchenjunga (weather permitting). En route back, visit Ghoom Monastery, Peace Memorial and Batasia Loop.

  • Carry original Voter ID. For children aged 1–18, original birth certificate is required for permits.
  • Age 1–4: no charge. Age 5–11: 50% amount. Age 12+: full amount.
  • Members should reach before 3 PM — pick-ups are scheduled for 3 PM. Book return flights after 2 PM — drop-offs at 2 PM.
  • 30% advance to confirm booking; balance payable on the day of arrival.
  • Hotels are subject to availability and may be replaced with similar alternatives.
